Shivani Gupta did not make any notes for UPSC IAS exam preparation. she have only highlighted in the books itself and for the csat prepration – Shivani Gupta have solved the last 2 years paper and She haven’t nldone anything new for the CSAT paper.

- Committees formed for different purpose by Government
- World Heritage Sites
- National Parks/ Wildlife Sanctuaries, rivers flowing through them
- Various reports released by domestic/international institutions (e.g. World Happiness Report)
Mains strategy by Shivani Gupta IAS Topper.
She did not prepare for the mains before the Prelims exam. She started to prepare for the mains exam after giving the Prelims exam.
she divided the whole day in three parts
- Newspaper and Answer Writing Practice- 4-5 Hours- she was practicing answer writing daily and in the starting she was taking 20 or 25 minutes to write the answer of single question and later she was able to write one question in only 6 or 7 minutes. this was a big change and she did it in very less time. Really she was great, many many congratulation to her from us
- Optional Subject- she was giving to 5 hours on optional – she used to devote 2-2.5 hours for each part
- GS Subjects- She was preparing for GS subject Daily 6 or 7 hours.
- Introduction- she was starting to answer the question in the good format, first she was giving the introduction which should be of 30-40 words. It should explain the essence of questions asked. Statistics or recent happening can be included.e.g. A question asked on domestic violence may start with some statistic or some current legislation formed.
- Main Body- after writing the introduction in the question she was writing the main body which consist of 130-150 words- Write in bullet points. Try to be as diverse as possible. Diversity in answer is appreciated. Make diagrams and factual information can be used.
- Include Examples,Facts,data, diagram, maps, wherever possible. She was including many facts, data and other important thing in the answer also
- Conclusion: at the last she was writing the conclusion which Should be around 20-30 words. Should involve some innovative suggestion. Govt schemes can be mentioned. It must be positive and not critical
